Italian club Como have entered advanced negotiations to sign Moroccan international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, with the deal reportedly valued at around €18 million.
Ezzalzouli has already agreed personal terms with Como, committing to a contract that would run until the summer of 2030. The final hurdle remains the agreement between Como and his current club, Real Betis.
As part of the proposed transfer, Real Betis are expected to receive €14.4 million, while Barcelona will collect €3.6 million.
Barcelona recently relinquished an additional 30% of Ezzalzouli’s rights to Betis, reportedly under financial pressure stemming from their deal to sign Vitor Roque.
Como’s interest in the 22-year-old attacker follows a string of standout performances for Real Betis, particularly during their UEFA Europa Conference League campaign.
His pace, skill, and attacking flair have also drawn attention from clubs in Germany and Saudi Arabia, though Ezzalzouli is said to prefer a move to Italy.
The Moroccan forward initially joined Real Betis from Barcelona for €7.5 million in a deal that saw both clubs retain 50% ownership.
The move was orchestrated by then-sporting director Ramon Planes, who had also facilitated Ezzalzouli’s earlier transfer to Barcelona.
Despite a challenging start to life at Betis, Ezzalzouli has flourished under head coach Manuel Pellegrini, emerging as a key figure in the team’s attacking setup.
