Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle has expressed confidence in his team’s preparedness ahead of their semi-final clash against Morocco at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Chelle acknowledged the quality of the Atlas Lions, describing them as a strong side, while insisting that the Super Eagles are fully ready for the challenge.
“We are ready to face the Lions in all aspects, and we will work to qualify for the final,” the Nigerian coach stated.
Chelle went on to stress that the encounter with Morocco will pose a different test compared to Nigeria’s previous matches at the tournament, pointing to both the quality of the Moroccan squad and their technical leadership.
“The match against Morocco will be different from previous matches, as they are a strong team and have a distinguished coach, Walid Regragui, who is different from the Algerian coach,” he added.
Wednesday’s semi-final clash between Nigeria and Morocco is scheduled to kick off at 20:00GMT.
