Morocco announces U17 squad for north African championship
Nabil Baha, head coach of Morocco’s U17 national football team, has officially selected a 20-player squad to compete in the upcoming North African Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the CAF U17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The tournament will take place in Morocco from November 11 to November 23, 2024, across two venues: Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca and Al-Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia.
Morocco’s U17 team is scheduled to face Egypt in its opening match on November 11 at Al-Bashir Stadium at 20:00 local time.
They will subsequently play Tunisia on November 17 at Père Jégo Stadium (17:00), Libya on November 20 at Al-Bashir Stadium (20:00), and Algeria on November 23 at Al-Bashir Stadium (18:00).
