With just weeks to go before the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) kicks off, Morocco has announced the introduction of free electronic visas (e-visas) through the Yalla app as part of preparations for the tournament.

The Local Organising Committee confirmed the development while unveiling the second phase of ticket sales ahead of the competition, which begins on December 21.

The first batch of tickets went on sale in early October and sold out quickly, particularly for matches involving hosts Morocco. The second phase, which opened in late October, features hospitality packages that include premium seats, VIP lounges, and private boxes.

The Yalla mobile app, the official platform for AFCON 2025, now integrates both the Fan ID and e-visa systems in one seamless package. With visa fees scrapped, international fans will find it even easier to travel to Morocco and experience the tournament.

Available on the App Store, Google Play, and via the web at www.yallamorocco.ma, the Yalla app serves as the central hub for all AFCON 2025 activities.

Ticket prices for the group stage start at around 100 MAD for standard options and can go up to 400 MAD or more for premium seats, especially for Morocco games and high-profile fixtures.

Each ticket purchase requires a Fan ID obtained through the Yalla app. Every Fan ID allows one ticket per match, issued in the buyer’s name. Digital tickets are linked to the QR code on the Fan ID, which must be presented with valid identification to gain entry to the stadium.

The system is designed to enhance convenience, transparency, and security while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for fans.

With visa barriers lifted and the second wave of ticket sales underway, Morocco’s preparations for AFCON 2025 are entering the final stretch, and excitement among local and international supporters continues to grow.
