CAK Football Team Involved in Terrifying Bus Accident in Morocco
In a shocking incident on Monday morning, the Chabab Atlas de Khénifra (CAK) football team narrowly avoided tragedy when their bus was involved in a horrific accident following their 1-1 draw with Chabab Rif Al Hoceima in a Moroccan league match. The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. near Bouchbel, a town situated about 46 km from Khenifra.
According to local authorities, the team’s bus collided with a courier vehicle after the driver reportedly lost control. The violent crash resulted in 29 injuries among the players and staff, with two players reported to be in a coma. Medical teams rushed to the scene, and 11 injured individuals were taken to Khenifra hospital, while another was transferred to Fez. The remaining 17 injured were initially treated at M’rirt hospital and later discharged after receiving necessary medical care.
