Casablanca is set to host the 3rd edition of the Mohammed VI Football Academy U19 International Tournament, kicking off on April 4th. The competition features twelve teams, divided into four groups, showcasing top youth talent from Morocco and abroad.
Group A consists of Mali’s U19 national team, Malaga from Spain, and Le Havre from France. Group B features Moroccan sides AS Far and KACM, alongside Ivory Coast’s ASEC. In Group C, Spanish club Leganés, French side Lorient, and Moroccan team FUS will compete. Group D includes hosts Mohammed VI Academy (AMF), Tunisia’s Etoile du Sahel, and Strasbourg from France.
The tournament format sees the top two teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals, followed by semi-finals and the final. In addition, ranking matches will be held to determine overall standings for all participating teams.
The four-day competition will conclude on April 7th, providing a platform for young players to gain international experience and showcase their skills on a prominent stage.
