Moroccan youngster, Eliesse Ben Seghir has been named AS Monaco’s Most Valuable Player for the month of November, a recognition of his remarkable form and growing importance for the team.
The 19-year-old football player’s consistently impressive performances have played a key role in Monaco’s strong start to the season, earning his widespread recognition.
“Having already won the MVP title for August, it was only fitting that Ben Seghir was named November’s MVP with 55% of the vote,” the club wrote, adding that the youngster has outspaced two other Academy Graduates who scored two goals and provided an assist.
Beyond his success with Monaco, Ben Seghir has also caught the attention of fans on the international stage — including in Morocco, where he is increasingly establishing himself as an invaluable member of the national team.
Ben Seghir’s choice to represent Morocco over France has been a topic of discussion for months.
Ben Sghir’s spectacular performances have not gone unnoticed in Europe. He was recently named as one of the 25 finalists for the prestigious Golden Boy award which recognizes the best under 21 player in European football.
While Lamine Yamal claimed the award this year, Ben Seghir’s inclusion in the shortlist reflects further highlights in his exceptional potential as a rising star.
