Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri is available for Al-Ittihad’s upcoming league encounter against Al-Riyadh in Round 26 of the Saudi Pro League on Friday.

The forward is regarded as one of Al-Ittihad’s most influential attacking players, and his potential involvement in the match had become a subject of growing interest among supporters and the media.

The coaching staff had been expected to make a final decision on his participation shortly before the game due to his importance to the team’s attacking setup.

Concerns first emerged after Saudi outlet Al-Riyadh reported that En-Nesyri was absent from Wednesday’s training session because of fatigue. His absence from training sparked doubts about whether he would be fit enough to feature in the upcoming fixture.

However, the uncertainty eased after journalist Alaa Saeed, who closely follows Al-Ittihad, shared a video on his official account on the social media platform X.

In the footage, En-Nesyri could be seen among the players present at the team hotel where the squad had gathered for their pre-match preparations, suggesting that he is likely to be available for the encounter against Al-Riyadh.

Al-Ittihad currently sit sixth in the Saudi Pro League standings with 42 points. The Jeddah-based club faces a significant gap to league leaders Al-Nassr as the season approaches its decisive stages.
