Elsewhere, Suhayb Driouech contributed to PSV Eindhoven’s convincing 4-1 triumph over Go Ahead Eagles by delivering the assist for his side’s fourth goal in the 82nd minute.
Another standout Moroccan display came from Younes Taha, who produced two assists to inspire FC Groningen to a 2-1 victory against NEC Nijmegen.
Meanwhile, Yassin Oukili got on the scoresheet for Fortuna Sittard, finding the net in the 50th minute during his team’s entertaining 3-2 win over PEC Zwolle.
