Moroccan outfit Moghreb Tetouan elect Mohamed Jedaouni as new president
Mohamed Jedaouni has been elected as the new president of Moghreb Athletic Tetouan after winning the confidence of the club’s members at an ordinary general assembly held on Monday.
The meeting was later followed by an extraordinary general assembly, during which members completed the process of establishing a new board of directors to take responsibility for the club’s administration.
Jedaouni will head the new management team as Moghreb Tetouan begins a new chapter in its institutional development.
The newly elected board features Amine Boulaich, Hicham Bouras, Younes Ben Lachhab, Youssef Hamouti, Issam Ben Hamou, Nizar Nouar, Hamid El Matni, Omar Ben Abdelali and former Moroccan international Ahmed Ahbrach.
The election brings an end to the latest stage of the club’s administrative restructuring, with the new leadership expected to work towards creating a more organised and sustainable structure.
The assembly also represents part of the club’s efforts to comply with the legal and regulatory requirements governing its operations while ensuring that its institutional framework is properly established.
Jedaouni’s administration inherits the responsibility of overseeing both the sporting and non-sporting sides of the club, including financial management, administrative affairs, recruitment and preparations for the upcoming season.
The new president and his board are expected to begin their duties in the coming days as they seek to address the club’s immediate needs and establish long-term plans for its development.
Particular attention will be placed on strengthening the team ahead of the new campaign while ensuring that the club’s administrative and financial affairs are managed effectively.
The new leadership will also be expected to restore confidence among Moghreb Tetouan’s supporters and respond to the ambitions of the club’s members.
With a fresh administration now in place, Jedaouni and his board face the challenge of delivering greater stability and laying the foundations for a successful new era at the Moroccan club.
