Moroccan olympic team ranks fourth in player market value ahead of Paris 2024
The Moroccan Olympic football team has secured the fourth position in terms of player market value among teams participating in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics, according to statistics compiled by the French press.
The total market value of the Moroccan squad stands at €166 million.
Leading the rankings is the French team, with a staggering market value of €466 million, followed by Spain at €370.3 million, and Argentina in third place with €228.8 million.
Achraf Hakimi is the most valuable player in the Moroccan lineup, with a market value of €60 million.
It’s worth noting that the absence of several key players, such as Brahim Diaz and Chadi Riad, has impacted the overall market value of the Moroccan team for the Olympics.
The Moroccan Olympic team is placed in Group C, alongside Argentina, Ukraine, and Iraq.
They are set to face Argentina on July 24, Ukraine on July 27, and will conclude the group stage against Iraq on July 30.
