Today marks the beginning of the final preparations for the Moroccan national Olympic football team as they gear up for their first match against Argentina in the upcoming Paris Olympics.

Under the guidance of coach Tarik Sektioui, the team is set to commence their last training camp at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in preparation for this momentous event.

The squad of 22 players, carefully selected by Tarik Sektioui, will assemble at the training center today, ready to defend the national colors on the Olympic stage.

Tomorrow, all invited personnel are expected to complete their arrival, ensuring full attendance ahead of the team’s departure to Lyon, France next week for continued preparations.

Next on their agenda is a friendly match against France’s U-23 team scheduled for July 18, aimed at fine-tuning their strategies and team cohesion.

Following their stint in Lyon, the team will move to Saint-Étienne, where they will face off against Argentina on July 26 in their inaugural Olympic match.

This will be followed by another crucial encounter against Ukraine on July 29, concluding with a match against Iraq in early August.

Coach Tarik Sektioui expressed confidence in the team’s readiness, emphasizing the importance of these preparatory stages in ensuring peak performance during the tournament.
