Moroccan international Soufiane Rahimi rediscovered his scoring form on Tuesday evening as he inspired Al Ain to a convincing victory over Ittihad Kalba in the UAE Pro League.
The match, played at the Ittihad Kalba Stadium as part of the 14th round of the 2025/2026 season, saw Al Ain claim a 3-1 win, with Rahimi playing a key role in the outcome.
The forward scored Al Ain’s second goal in the 64th minute, helping his side regain control of the game and push on for all three points.
Rahimi’s goal proved significant, as it marked his first for Al Ain since returning from international duty with Morocco at the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations finals, which were held on home soil.
His performance reflected a welcome return to form after a demanding continental campaign with the national team.
Al Ain went on to seal the victory with three goals to one, continuing their strong push in the league and underlining their attacking quality.
Rahimi’s contribution will be seen as a major boost for the club as they look ahead to the rest of the season, with the Moroccan forward now back among the goals.
