Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah delivered a performance for the history books on Tuesday night, producing one of the most extraordinary individual displays seen this season as he scored six goals and added an assist in Al-Shabab’s crushing 13-0 victory over Yemeni side Al-Tadamon in the Gulf Club Champions League.

Already the holder of the record for the most hat-tricks in Saudi Pro League history with 11, Hamdallah’s latest feat further underlined his reputation as one of the most lethal forwards to have played in Middle Eastern football.

The emphatic result also sealed Al-Shabab’s qualification to the semi-finals, while strengthening Hamdallah’s grip on the tournament’s top scorer ranking.

The final Group B encounter, staged at the SHG Arena in Riyadh, saw Hamdallah stamp his authority on the match almost immediately.

He played a key role in the opening goal with an assist in the 14th minute before launching into a breathtaking scoring spree that left Al-Tadamon helpless.

The 35-year-old struck at the 34th and 43rd minutes to give Al-Shabab firm control before adding four more goals after the break in the 58th, 62nd, 65th and 68th minutes. The double hat-trick was a rare sight in modern professional football and one that carried historic significance for the competition.

Hamdallah’s six-goal haul took his total in the tournament to seven, placing him clear at the top of the scoring charts and ahead of several high-profile attackers in the competition.

More importantly, it marked the first time in the history of the Gulf Club Champions League that a player has scored six goals in a single match, setting a new benchmark in the tournament’s records.

Al-Shabab dominated proceedings from the opening whistle to the final minute, overwhelming their opponents with relentless attacking pressure. The 13-0 scoreline stands as one of the heaviest defeats ever recorded in the competition and reflected the gulf in quality on the night.

With this latest masterclass, Hamdallah has further cemented his legendary status in Saudi football. He now sits on 150 career goals in the Kingdom and continues to close in on the all-time Saudi Pro League scoring record, adding yet another milestone to a career defined by consistency and ruthless finishing.

His influence is not limited to club football. Hamdallah also played a decisive role on the international stage, starring for Morocco at the FIFA Arab Cup in 2025.

He finished the competition with three goals and one assist in four appearances, helping the Atlas Lions secure their second title and earning the Man of the Match award in the final for his decisive contribution.
