Maghreb de Fès, a Moroccan football club, has received encouraging news as it has been officially announced that a grant of 500 million centimes will be released by local authorities in the city.
Officials of the Fes-based club have been eagerly anticipating this grant to address the financial difficulties the team has been facing since the departure of Ismail El Jarmouni, the club’s former president.
Players of Maghreb de Fès have expressed their frustration due to delays in receiving their financial dues, which include monthly salaries, match bonuses, and signing fees.
The club is currently in a state of significant turmoil, with its stability at stake. Matters have been overseen by an interim committee since the departure of Ismail El Jarmouni.
Moreover, contracts of over ten players are set to expire this summer, further complicating the situation.
