The Moroccan entrepreneur Abdessalam Mouloud has emerged as a prominent figure in the field of stadium construction, leaving an indelible mark on projects across Europe and Africa.
His expertise has now contributed to the preparations of Ivory Coast for hosting the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where he played a role in the realization of some of its stadiums.
Born in the economic capital, Casablanca, Mouloud paved his way in the business and contracting sector before venturing to Turkey, where he executed substantial projects in stadium construction.
He earned the trust of officials there to build the turf for significant stadiums.
The Moroccan contractor swiftly climbed the ranks, becoming an integral figure in the construction of sports arenas, covering seating, lighting, turf, and other essential aspects.
Additionally, he obtained a quality recognition certificate from FIFA for turf manufacturing.
Mouloud’s company was responsible for constructing Sadio Mané Stadium in the village bearing the Liverpool striker’s name in Senegal.
Mané placed his confidence in the young Moroccan, trusting him to bring the landmark stadium into existence.
In an exclusive statement to “Hesport,” Mouloud expressed gratitude to Mané for the trust bestowed upon him.
He stated, “Working with him is a great honor, and my ambition in this field is greater than where I stand today.”
He further conveyed his delight in supervising the construction of major stadiums in Turkey and sub-Saharan Africa, emphasizing his goal to contribute to the development of sports infrastructure in his homeland, Morocco.
Mouloud also expressed joy in building stadiums that will host matches for the AFCON in Ivory Coast.
