Tshepang Moremi has become Orlando Pirates’ top scorer under coach Abdeslam Ouaddou after reaching 16 goals in all competitions since joining the club.
The winger marked his 50th appearance for the Buccaneers over the weekend, scoring to underline his growing importance to Ouaddou’s side.
Moremi is the fourth player to reach 50 appearances under the coach. Only Sipho Chaine and Oswin Appollis, both with 58 appearances, and Lebone Seema, who has played 52 times, have featured more regularly during Ouaddou’s tenure.
However, Moremi’s goalscoring record sets him apart from those players. No Orlando Pirates player has scored more than his 16 goals since he made his debut for the club in August 2025.
The 50 appearances have included a consistent contribution in attack, with Moremi scoring once every three games. That return has helped establish the former Golden Arrows attacker as an important part of the Pirates forward line.
While Chaine, Appollis and Seema have also been regular selections for Ouaddou, Moremi has combined his reliable availability with a greater impact in front of goal.
His latest milestone therefore reflects both his contribution since arriving at Orlando Pirates and the coach’s continued faith in him.
