Mbaye Niang, currently on loan from AC Milan to Montpellier, seems unlikely to remain with the Hérault club for the upcoming season. Reports from L’Equipe suggest that Montpellier coach Rolland Courbis has submitted a list of eleven players to the club’s management, indicating those he does not plan to include in his plans for next season.
Interestingly, Niang, the Franco-Senegalese striker, does not feature on this list, implying that he may not be part of Courbis’ future plans for the team. Similarly, Anthony Mounier, who has failed to make a significant impact since joining from Nice two years ago, and Senegalese forward Souleymane Camara are also reportedly not part of the coach’s plans. Yassine Jebbour completes the quartet of players who are seemingly not in Courbis’ future plans for Montpellier.
