Louis Nicollin, the president of Montpellier, is displaying a lack of patience towards M’Baye Niang. Le Midi Libre reports that Nicollin is considering requesting a new loan from AC Milan for the young French striker.
Despite scoring four times in Ligue 1 with Montpellier, the 19-year-old has struggled to make his mark at San Siro. There’s a possibility that Niang could extend his stay in Hérault beyond this season, as he hasn’t been able to capitalize on his opportunities in Italy.
Montpellier’s management is impressed by the performances of Jean Deza, a 20-year-old Peruvian striker, and is looking to exercise the option to purchase him. Additionally, negotiations are ongoing regarding contract extensions for defenders Vitorino Hilton, aged 36, and Garry Bocaly, aged 26.
