Montpellier Herault have extended Theo Chennahi’s contract until 2030, rewarding the rapid progress of the 21-year-old Franco-Algerian midfielder.
Chennahi, who came through the Montpellier Herault academy, signed his first professional deal at the end of May 2025 before agreeing an initial extension on 13 January. The latest renewal further secures his future with the club.
He made four appearances for the first team during the 2024/25 season. The following campaign saw him become an important part of Zoumana Camara’s side, featuring in 32 Ligue 2 matches.
His performances earned him the supporters’ Player of the Season award, underlining his growing influence at Montpellier Herault.
Meanwhile, Stade de Reims have extended Arone Gadou’s contract until 2029, with an option for a further season, according to Le Parisien.
The Franco-Ivorian forward scored his first professional goal in Stade de Reims’ 4-2 victory over Dijon on Friday, 16 October, at Stade Auguste-Delaune.
Gadou has made six substitute appearances in Ligue 2 this season and recorded his highest amount of playing time in the latest round of matches. His progress has come alongside a strong start for Stade de Reims, who currently sit third in the table.
