Garry Bocaly is set to be sidelined from the playing fields for around a month, as revealed by Jean Fernandez, the coach of Montpellier, on Thursday. The defender of Martinican origin sustained a new injury earlier in the week, specifically a torn quadriceps muscle in his right thigh.
Bocaly had recently made his return to competition on September 6 in CFA2, marking his comeback after being absent for ten months due to a hip injury. Unfortunately, this setback will once again see him out of action for a period of time, posing a challenge for Montpellier as they navigate their upcoming matches without the services of the 25-year-old full-back.
