Henri Bédimo, who was listed for departure from Montpellier, is poised to continue his career in Ligue 1. Although initially expected at Olympique de Marseille, the Cameroonian defender is now set to become part of Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon). Lyon, in search of a left-back, has initiated negotiations for the services of the Indomitable Lion.
According to Laurent Nicollin, the deputy president of Montpellier HSC, the parties are currently finalizing the terms of the transfer. “With one or two bonuses, we agree with Lyon on Bedimo. I think the player does too,” he stated on RMC.
Henri Bédimo, under contract with the 2012 French champions until 2016, is expected to join Les Gones for a transfer fee of two million euros, excluding bonuses.
