Monaco lose Spanish-Guinean attacker Ansu Fati for Brest test
French Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco will have to negotiate for victory without influential attacker Ansu Fati this weekend due to an injury setback.
The Spanish-Guinean attacker, who joined the French giants in the summer is currently carrying a hamstring, making him unavailable for the upcoming clash.
Fati, on loan from Spanish giants, Barcelona succumbed to injury on Tuesday at training. Monaco awaits the outcome of the test conducted.
Monaco hopes to get the enterprising attacker back before their high-stake clash against Olympique Marseille on December 14, followed by AJ Auxerre showdown in the Coupe de France the following weekend.
The 23-year-old has been outstanding for Monaco since joining the club from Barcelona. He has racked up five in 10 appearances in the French Ligue 1 so far. In all competitions, Fati has bagged six goals in 14 matches for the Principality club.
Having made an impressive start to life, the French outfit could consider permanent signing of the attacker at the end of the loan spell.
