Monaco Rest Key Players Ahead of Toulouse Clash, Lacina Traoré Returns
AS Monaco will be without Fabinho, Ricardo Carvalho, and Ivan Cavaleiro for their trip to Toulouse this Saturday, as part of the third matchday of the 2015–16 Ligue 1 season. Head coach Leonardo Jardim has opted to rest the trio, managing their workload during the early stages of a busy campaign.
However, there is positive news for the Principality club, with Ivorian striker Lacina Traoré returning to the squad for the first time this season. The towering forward has been recovering from fitness issues and now looks set to make his mark, adding depth to Monaco’s attacking options.
Despite the absence of several regular starters, Monaco still travel with a strong squad. The selected group includes experienced players such as captain Jérémy Toulalan, attacking talents Anthony Martial, Bernardo Silva, and Stephan El Shaarawy, as well as new arrivals like Thomas Lemar and Guido Carrillo.
AS Monaco squad to face Toulouse:
Goalkeepers: Danijel Subašić, Seydou Sy, Loïc Badiashile
