**Monaco to Make Stephan El Shaarawy Signing Permanent After 15th Appearance**
AS Monaco will trigger their purchase option for Stephan El Shaarawy following the striker’s fifteenth appearance for the club. The Egyptian-born Italian played against Qarabag on Thursday in Monaco’s Europa League victory, reaching the milestone that activates the permanent transfer clause.
Monaco had initially paid €2 million for the loan deal and are now obliged to pay an additional €15 million to AC Milan to complete the signing.
El Shaarawy’s move from Milan comes after a productive loan spell, with the 23-year-old forward adding firepower to Leonardo Jardim’s squad in both Ligue 1 and European competition.
