MOMO DIAMÉ: THE SENEGALESE ON DEPARTURE FROM WEST HAM

According to L’Equipe, Mohamed Diamé has expressed his desire to depart from West Ham United. The Senegalese midfielder, who had been linked with a move away from the club last summer, has ultimately decided to leave Upton Park, despite the club’s reluctance to see him go. This decision was revealed in an article published in a booklet sold at the club in London.

Contrary to previous reports indicating his interest in continuing with West Ham, even in their new stadium, the Olympic Stadium in London, Diamé now aims to pursue his career at a Premier League club within the top 6. Liverpool had shown interest in him last September, and Everton is also reportedly keen on acquiring the former Wigan player.

Diamé is currently under contract with West Ham United until June 2015.
