Momar Gadji: Franco-Senegalese midfielder joins Montlouis on free transfer
Franco-Senegalese defensive midfielder Momar Gadji has joined Montlouis on a free transfer from US Colomiers. The 29-year-old, who stands at 1.87m and plays primarily in front of the back four, makes the move after two years with the Colomiers side.
Gadji, born in Cenon and right-footed, has built his career across the French lower divisions and in Belgium. He arrives at Montlouis with extensive experience in National 1 and National 2, having made more than 170 league appearances in those competitions. Across those seasons he has contributed modestly in attack, registering several goals and assists while largely operating in a screening role.
Before his spell at Colomiers, Gadji played for Trelissac FC following a free transfer from Belgian club Rupel Boom. His time abroad also included appearances in the Belgian Croky Cup, adding to a domestic cup resume that features multiple outings in the Coupe de France.
Earlier in his career, Gadji developed through the French system with Bordeauxs youth teams before steps up to senior football at Stade Bordelais and later EA Guingamps B team. Subsequent moves to US Saint-Malo and then to Belgium broadened his experience across different regional and national competitions.
Gadji officially joined Montlouis on 9 July 2026, ending his stay at US Colomiers and beginning a new chapter as a free-transfer addition to the French clubs midfield options.
