Arafat Djako, the Togolese striker who joined FC Dacia in Moldova last winter, is starting to make an impact with his new team. In a recent match against FC Costuleni, Djako scored his first goal for FC Dacia, despite their eventual 2-1 defeat.
Entering the game as a substitute, Djako managed to reduce the deficit for FC Dacia in the 87th minute. He capitalized on a teammate’s header to control the ball and fire a shot under the crossbar. Although FC Dacia couldn’t mount a comeback, Djako’s goal showcased his potential contribution to the team.
Another Togolese player at FC Dacia, Mamah Abdoul Gafar, played the full match alongside Djako. FC Dacia currently sits in 4th place in the Moldovan championship standings.
