Moise Kean fighting to be ready for Fiorentina’s clash with Crystal Palace

Moise Kean is at the heart of Fiorentina’s late push to rescue their Conference League campaign, with the club working flat out to get him back on the pitch in time for the decisive second leg against Crystal Palace.

La Viola trail 3-0 from the first game, and Kean’s potential return is seen as a crucial boost to their hopes of a comeback at the Stadio Franchi.

“We are trying to recover him; we are doing everything we can, including double training sessions with the player.” Kean has already missed the last two matches, including the heavy defeat at Selhurst Park, but remains determined to play a part in the final stretch of the season.

“He is keen to try to help us in this final part of the season. It’s a problem that has somewhat interrupted what he did last year, but thanks to the group, we have been able to make up for the absence of an important player.”

His teammates have stepped up in his absence, yet there is no hiding how much quality Kean brings when fit and firing.
