Mohssine Rabja: Moroccan defender joins KACM Marrakech on free transfer from Al-Dhafra FC

Moroccan centre-back Mohssine Rabja has joined KACM Marrakech on a free transfer from UAE side Al-Dhafra FC. The 32-year-old left-footed defender returns to Moroccan football after a season in the UAE Pro League.

Rabja, who stands at 1.85m, arrives in Marrakech with significant top-flight experience. He made 22 league appearances for Al-Dhafra, adding to a career that has taken in spells across Morocco, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. His move to KACM comes with his market value currently rated at €300,000.

Before heading to the Gulf, Rabja built his reputation in the Botola Pro Inwi, making 77 league appearances and scoring seven goals in Morocco’s top division. He has also shown an eye for goal on the continental stage, scoring three times in six matches in the CAF Confederation Cup from centre-back.

The defender’s career has featured a series of free transfers, with previous stints at COD Meknes and Al-Wehdat SC before his switch to Al-Dhafra in July 2025. Earlier in his career he played for a string of Moroccan clubs, including Difaa El Jadida, Ittihad Tanger, TAS Casablanca, RCA Zemamra, Rapide Oued Zem, Kenitra, MAS Fes and Wydad Fes, steadily accumulating experience in domestic and regional competitions.

Rabja officially joined KACM Marrakech on 21 July 2026, completing a permanent free transfer from Al-Dhafra FC.
