Zamalek SC has welcomed Mohammed Mitwally as the new legal advisor for the club’s football management, a move seen as part of a bigger push to bring fresh expertise into the team’s operations.
The appointment was made by club president Hussein Labib in coordination with sporting director John Edward, who is introducing a dedicated contracts department.
The new unit will be led by Hamza Abdel Wahab with Hazem Samir as deputy, focusing on drafting and reviewing agreements to strengthen the club’s structure. It is a step within Edward’s broader plan to rebuild the football sector by adding skilled professionals who can help deliver strong results for the Whites.
Mohammed Mitwally brings an impressive background to the role. He is an international sports lawyer and lecturer in sports law with a Master’s degree from Indiana University’s Moore School of Law in the United States. He also holds diplomas in Sports Management and Sports Law and is a member of the International Association of Football Lawyers. His work has included representing clubs, players and agents in various legal forums.
