Mohamed Tariqui joins FCE MA from Trelissac FC on free transfer
French-Moroccan defensive midfielder Mohamed Tariqui has joined FCE MA from Trelissac FC on a free transfer, completing his switch within France’s National 2 – Group A.
Tariqui, 24, moves after one season with Trelissac, whom he joined from Stade Bordelais in July 2025, also on a free transfer. His arrival at FCE MA continues a club career spent in the French lower divisions, following earlier spells with Stade Bordelais and Merignac.
The right-footed midfielder has played 58 National 2 matches and scored seven goals across the competition records available for his career. He has also made four appearances in the Coupe de France and featured twice in the Coupe Gambardella, scoring once in the youth competition.
At 1.84m, Tariqui has primarily operated in defensive midfield. His most recent recorded National 2 involvement came during a period in which he registered 22 appearances and three goals in Group A, while another National 2 campaign included 25 appearances and four goals.
Tariqui joined Stade Bordelais from Merignac in July 2022 before moving to Trelissac three years later. His latest change of club keeps him in the same National 2 group and adds another stage to a career that began in the Merignac system.
The move to FCE MA was completed on 4 August 2026.
