Mohamed Sherif believes his move back to Al Ahly was a matter of destiny.
The Egyptian striker, who recently rejoined the Cairo giants after a stint abroad, described his return as a natural step in his career. For Sherif, Al Ahly’s structure, ambition, and unmatched environment made the decision effortless.
“There was no room for thinking about it,” Sherif told reporters. “Al Ahly is a football paradise in Egypt and Africa, and it’s different from any other club on every level. It was only natural for me to return. I have a lot of goals.”
“When you win a championship at Al-Ahly, it doesn’t last long. The page is quickly closed and the search for a new achievement begins. This is one of the most important secrets of the club’s success,”
He acknowledged the competition for places: “The competition will be very tough and intense. Having distinguished options is a positive thing,”
Sherif concluded with optimism and gratitude: “I hope to be an addition. I’ve benefited from my experience in the Saudi League my focus is currently on Al-Ahly.”
