Mohammed Salah weighs Besiktas offer as he prepares to decide on next move
Egyptian international Mohammed Salah is expected to decide on his future in the coming days amid Besiktas transfer links.
The former Liverpool star remains a top transfer target for the Istanbul club in the current summer transfer window, although an agreement has yet to be reached between the two parties.
As per reports, negotiations have been slowed by disagreements over financial terms, with Besiktas’ hierarchy reportedly frustrated by the commission being requested by Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas.
Just recently, Salah and his agent reviewed all offers on the table across Europe, with Besiktas’ proposal said to be most attractive, putting the Turkish side in pole position to land the 34-year-old attacker.
At the moment, neither Salah nor his representative has rejected Besiktas’ approach, with the player expected to make a final decision on his next club in the coming days.
Besiktas’ final proposal reportedly includes a two-year contract worth €15 million per season, with an additional €4 million in performance-related bonuses, underlining the club’s determination to secure one of Africa’s greatest-ever footballers.
While negotiations remain ongoing, the coming days are expected to determine whether Salah begins the next chapter of his career in the Turkish Super Lig.
