Mohamed Salah set to reveal next club within days after Liverpool exit

Mohamed Salah is poised to end weeks of speculation over his future, with confirmation of his next club expected within days following his decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old forward recently confirmed he would bring the curtain down on a glittering nine-year spell at Anfield once his contract expires, closing a chapter that has firmly established him among the club’s modern greats.

Since that announcement, interest in Salah has intensified globally, with clubs from Saudi Arabia, Major League Soccer, and several top European leagues all reportedly positioning themselves to secure his signature.

Fresh insight into the timeline of his decision has now emerged from within the Egyptian national team setup.

Media coordinator Muhammad Murad indicated that clarity on Salah’s next move is imminent, suggesting the prolonged uncertainty surrounding the winger’s future is nearing its conclusion.

“There are news stories being written about him having offers from Italy and France and other big teams in the world – this is, of course, true, he is a big star and would be a big addition to any team,” Murad said.

“Whichever team Salah picks, we will support him – he (also) has offers from Saudi… I think in a few days he will announce his next destination.”
