Mohamed Salah scored twice for Trabzonspor against Galatasaray to move level at the top of the Turkish league’s goalscoring standings.
Trabzonspor are hosting Galatasaray in the sixth round of the Turkish league, with Salah finding the net twice during the first half.
He opened the scoring in the fourth minute before adding another goal in the 44th minute, taking his tally for Trabzonspor and in the Turkish league this season to six.
Salah’s two goals came as part of a first-half scoreline that saw Galatasaray lead 3-0. He was also credited with creating Galatasaray’s third goal.
The result moved Salah level with Amedspor’s Grift Orbig and Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen at the top of the scoring standings, with all three players on six goals.
Galatasaray began the match as league leaders with 13 points, while Trabzonspor were ninth on seven points.
