Mohamed Salah ranked 4th in EPL all-time goal scorers chart after netting injury-time winner for Liverpool
Egyptian sensation Mohamed Salah has moved to fourth in the ranking of the top goal scorers in the English Premier League.
The highly-rated forward achieved the feat on Sunday after netting a 94th-minute penalty to secure a 1-0 win for Liverpool against Burnley in Week 4 of the 2025/26 league campaign.
The forward now has 188 Premier League goals in just over 305 appearances. It is an exceptional strike rate of 0.62 goals per game, ranking among the best in competition history. His latest milestone sees him surpass several legendary marksmen while edging closer to the very top.

Salah is now just 72 goals shy of Alan Shearer’s long-standing record of 260. At his current scoring rate, he would need around 116 more matches and roughly three full seasons to equal the record.
With his contract running until 2027 and his form showing no signs of decline at 33, Salah has a realistic chance of challenging Shearer’s legendary tally.
However, it will be very difficult to reach Shearer’s record to have any chance of breaking it.
