Mohamed Salah named Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho as gifted players he has ever played with
Egypt and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has highlighted the teammates who have stood out for their technical brilliance during his time at Anfield.
In an interview with teammate Conor Bradley, reported by English outlet Rousing the Kop, Salah was asked which players consistently impressed him in training since he arrived at Liverpool.
Salah singled out Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho, praising their ball control and ability to dominate sessions with their skill.
“Despite his frequent injuries and fitness problems, Lallana was one of the most impressive players in daily training.”
He added that Lallana belonged in the same tier as Coutinho, whose talent eventually earned him a £142 million move to Barcelona.
Reflecting on Lallana’s career, Salah remarked: “Injuries may have prevented Lallana from showcasing his full potential, but his talent in training was always evident to everyone.”
