Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has heaped praise on teammate Mohamed Salah, describing the Egyptian star as a source of inspiration both on and off the field.
Speaking in an interview with AS Daily, Mac Allister highlighted Salah’s dedication and work ethic, which he believes sets a remarkable example for everyone at the club.
“Salah motivates us both on and off the field,” Mac Allister said. “You can tell by how he plays; he always wants to do more. He’s a fantastic example of dedication and hard work.”
The Argentine midfielder also lauded Salah’s ability to contribute selflessly to the team, saying, “When he’s on your team, you know he’ll help you get chances to score.”
Mac Allister emphasised Salah’s importance to Liverpool’s success and expressed his hope that the star forward maintains his exceptional form. He also voiced optimism for smooth contract negotiations involving key players, including Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Despite ongoing discussions about contract extensions, Mac Allister believes Salah is happy at Liverpool and hopes the Egyptian legend remains with the club for the rest of his career.
