Egyptian superstar, Mohamed Salah is the top scorer in the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Liverpool attacking sensation has been a standout performer in the qualifiers in the first four games.
Salah, 32, has scored five goals so far, establishing himself as the leading marksman in the qualifiers.
He will be key for Egypt in the March international break ahead of games against Ethiopia and Sierra Leone in Group A.
Additional goals will see Salah opening a gap in the top scorer’s chart in the qualifiers.
Behind Mohamed Salah in the chart is Egyptian compatriot Mahmoud Trezeguet. He has also scored five goals in the qualifiers and leads Black Stars of Ghana forward Jordan Ayew with one goal.
The three leading top scorers in the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will all be in action for their countries this month and will have the chance to score more.
