Mohamed Salah taking measured approach on next move

Egypt star Mohamed Salah is reportedly taking a measured approach to his next career move as he departs Liverpool at the end of the season.

Despite having an existing contract until 2027, the experienced attacker has decided to part ways with the premier League giants this summer, stunning several Liverpool fans.

Salah is now carefully evaluating offers from Europe, the Saudi Pro League, and Major League Soccer in the United States.

As reported by The Sun, the 33-year-old’s priority remains to continue playing in Europe, even though more lucrative financial packages are available elsewhere, particularly from Saudi Arabia.

While no final decision has been made, Salah is understood to be in no rush, preferring to assess all options before committing to the next chapter of his career.

Among the most serious European suitors is Fenerbahce SK, who have reportedly held discussions with Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas over a potential three-year deal.

The Turkish giants are said to be building an ambitious project around the Egyptian forward in an attempt to win the league title for the first time since 2014.

Reports suggest Fenerbahce are prepared to offer a salary of around £17.3 million per year, marking one of the strongest European proposals Salah has received since signalling his intention to leave Liverpool.

Beyond Europe, interest from the Saudi Pro League remains active, with clubs having tracked Salah for the past three years as part of their long-term strategy to attract global superstars.

In addition, several Major League Soccer sides in the United States are also believed to have made exploratory approaches, offering another potential pathway for the Egyptian forward.

Despite the growing list of offers, Salah is reportedly prioritising sporting considerations alongside financial ones. A key factor in his decision-making is his desire to remain in peak condition ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The Liverpool forward believes a strong tournament performance could help him close what has been a challenging final season at Anfield, where he has recorded 12 goals and 9 assists in the Premier League.

With his Liverpool chapter nearing its end, Salah is expected to hold further discussions in the coming weeks before narrowing down his options.

A second meeting with Fenerbahce representatives is also reportedly planned, as the Turkish club continue to push their case.

For now, the “Egyptian King” remains in control of his next move—carefully weighing legacy, ambition, and opportunity before deciding where his next chapter will be written.
