Al-Hilal coach Jorge Jesus has suggested that Mohamed Salah could make the move to the Saudi Arabian club next summer.
The Egyptian forward has been frequently linked with Al-Hilal, and with his contract at Liverpool set to expire at the end of the season, there are growing speculations about his future. It seems unlikely that Salah will extend his stay at Anfield.
Jorge Jesus has expressed interest in bringing Salah to Al-Hilal, but only for next season.
“Mo Salah or other top players will not join this winter… but perhaps for next season,” he stated.
Al-Hilal is eyeing Salah as a potential replacement for Neymar, whose contract ends in the summer.
Neymar could even depart the Saudi side as early as this month, with several MLS clubs, including Chicago Fire, reportedly pursuing the 32-year-old.
Salah has been in outstanding form for Liverpool, having scored 21 goals in all competitions this season.
