Mohamed Rayane Anane: ES Sahel’s Tunisian Winger Linked with Red Star FC Move
Mohamed Rayane Anane, the Tunisian left winger currently at ES Sahel, is being linked with a move to French Ligue 2 side Red Star FC as the Parisian club explores attacking reinforcements for the new season.
The 19-year-old, who operates primarily on the left but is right-footed, has emerged as a regular for ES Sahel in the Tunisian top flight and is understood to be attracting interest after a breakthrough campaign. Red Star are monitoring the situation as they assess wide options, with Anane’s relatively modest valuation of around €450,000 seen as a potentially accessible deal.
Anane has featured extensively in Ligue 1 for ES Sahel, making 36 league appearances and scoring five goals, a run of games that has underlined his ability to cope with senior football at a young age. He has also carried that form into continental competition, adding further goals in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The winger signed professional terms with ES Sahel’s first team on 1 January 2025 after progressing from the club’s U21 set-up and is tied to the Tunisian side until 30 June 2029. That long-term contract puts ES Sahel in a strong negotiating position and means any move to France would require Red Star to reach an agreement with the club rather than targeting a cut-price exit later in his deal.
