Morocco’s U‑20 coach, Mohamed Ouahbi, has expressed strong confidence in the Moroccan “B” team ahead of the upcoming Arab Cup in Qatar.

Ouahbi praised the squad’s depth and attacking firepower, highlighting Abderrazak Hamdallah and Tarik Tissoudali as the main contenders for the tournament’s top scorer award.

Speaking to Al Kass, he said, “Morocco will be Arab Cup champions. Hamdallah or Tissoudali will be the top scorer because they are excellent strikers.”

The coach also pointed to Morocco’s potential to secure the best attack award, while suggesting that Jordan could emerge as a surprise package capable of challenging the favorites.

Individually, Ouahbi identified Mohamed Rabii Harimat and Tissoudali as strong candidates for the tournament’s best player accolade, noting their consistency and quality as potentially decisive for Morocco’s campaign.

Morocco, under head coach Tarik Sektioui, will compete in Group B alongside Saudi Arabia, as well as the winners of Oman vs Somalia and Yemen vs Comoros.

With a blend of seasoned stars and emerging talent, Morocco enters the tournament as one of the competition’s most formidable sides.

The Arab Cup runs from December 1 to 18, 2025, in Qatar.
