Mohamed Mosaad joins El Alameen as Egyptian midfielder completes free transfer

Egyptian attacking midfielder Mohamed Mosaad has joined El Alameen from A. Damanhour on a free transfer, strengthening the club’s squad with a 29-year-old player who operates in the centre of midfield.

Mosaad completed the move on 2 August 2026 and has signed a contract with El Alameen running until 30 June 2028. The switch represents his latest move within Egyptian football after a spell with A. Damanhour.

The midfielder spent the previous two seasons at A. Damanhour, having joined the club from Port Fouad SC on 1 July 2024. That move was also completed without a transfer fee, continuing a career in which he has changed clubs several times on free transfers.

Mosaad began his senior career with El Makasa before moving to Petrojet in November 2018. He then joined Baladiya in August 2019, followed by a switch to Al-Entesar during the 2020-21 season. His next move took him to El Magd in July 2021, before he signed for Port Fouad SC in 2023.

Across the career record available for him, Mosaad has made appearances in both the Egyptian Premier League and the Egypt Cup. He has recorded two Premier League appearances and one Egypt Cup appearance, with the three matches accounting for 93 minutes of action.

His arrival gives El Alameen an experienced Egyptian option in the attacking midfield area. The club becomes the latest destination in a career that has included spells at seven Egyptian sides, with each of his last four recorded transfers completed as a free move.

Mosaad’s previous club, A. Damanhour, is therefore the latest team to lose his services, while El Alameen becomes the midfielder’s new home for the next two seasons. The deal was completed on 2 August, and his contract is scheduled to remain in effect until the end of June 2028.
