Mohamed Ihattaren linked with Raja Casablanca move from Fortuna Sittard
Mohamed Ihattaren, the Moroccan-Dutch attacking midfielder at Fortuna Sittard, is reportedly being linked with a move to Moroccan club Raja Casablanca.
Ihattaren joined Fortuna from RKC Waalwijk in August 2025 in a deal worth €100,000 and is under contract with the Eredivisie club until 30 June 2027. His current market value is listed at €3m.
The 24-year-old has made 108 Eredivisie appearances, scoring 16 goals and providing 23 assists. He plays primarily as an attacking midfielder and is left-footed.
A move to Raja would represent a return to the country of one of Ihattaren’s nationalities. Born in Utrecht, he also represents the Netherlands by nationality and was part of the Netherlands Under-17 side that won the European Under-17 Championship in 2018.
Ihattaren began his senior career at PSV before moving to Juventus in August 2021. He subsequently spent time with Sampdoria and Ajax before leaving Juventus in 2023. After spells with Samsunspor and Slavia Prague, he returned to Dutch football with RKC Waalwijk in September 2024.
The reported interest from Raja Casablanca remains a rumour, with Ihattaren’s existing Fortuna Sittard contract extending through the end of the 2026-27 season.
