Egyptian right winger Mohamed Farouk has joined Smouha from Kahraba on a long-term deal running until June 2029. The 27-year-old, who prefers to operate on the right and cut in on his left foot, completed his move on 9 July 2026.

Farouk arrives at the Alexandria-based club with a market valuation of 150,000 and signs at an age where Smouha will expect him to contribute immediately in the Egyptian Premier League. His contract length underlines the clubs commitment to building around him over the next three seasons.

Born in Kafr El Sheikh in November 1998, Farouk has built up steady top-flight and cup experience in recent campaigns. Across league, relegation play-off and domestic cup competitions, he has amassed more than 2,400 senior minutes, providing a handful of assists and featuring regularly in high-pressure fixtures such as relegation play-offs and national cup ties.

Farouk joins Smouha after a season with Kahraba, whom he had signed for in July 2025 from FC Majd. That move followed a spell at Fleetwood United, giving him experience of different club environments before returning to a Premier League side with established ambitions.

With his ability to play wide on the right and attack onto his favoured left foot, Farouk offers Smouha an additional option in the final third as they prepare for the upcoming campaign. The deal sees him contracted to the club until 30 June 2029, confirming his status as a key part of Smouhas medium-term plans.
