Mohamed Ali Zoma: Paris FC linked with Nuremberg forward after three-goal start

Mohamed Ali Zoma, the Italy and Ivory Coast second striker at 1. FC Nuremberg, is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with Paris FC.

The 22-year-old is being linked with a move from the German second-tier club to Paris FC, who play in Ligue 1. The rumour emerged on 14 August, with no transfer agreement confirmed.

Zoma has made an immediate impact at the start of the 2026-27 2. Bundesliga campaign, scoring three goals in one appearance. He started that match and played 94% of the available minutes, contributing to all of Nuremberg’s goals.

The forward joined Nuremberg from Italian club UC AlbinoLeffe in August 2025 for a reported €1.5m fee. His current market value is listed at €8m, while his contract with Nuremberg runs until 30 June 2029.

Zoma was born in Merate, Italy, and holds Italian and Ivorian nationality. He played in AlbinoLeffe’s youth system before joining the senior side and later moving to Germany.

Nuremberg are competing in the 2. Bundesliga, while Paris FC are preparing for life in France’s top division. For now, Zoma remains a Nuremberg player under a long-term contract.
