Mohamed Ali Omri joins PS Sakiet Edda to bolster Tunisia club’s attack

Tunisia centre-forward Mohamed Ali Omri has joined PS Sakiet Edda from Olympique Beja on a free transfer, completing his move on 3 August 2026.

The 24-year-old becomes part of a PS Sakiet Edda side competing in Tunisia’s Ligue 1. Omri stands at 1.86m and is a right-footed forward whose main position is at the centre of the attack.

He arrives after a spell with Olympique Beja, whom he joined from Club Africain on 30 January 2026. The move to PS Sakiet Edda marks his latest switch within Tunisian football and keeps him in the country’s top flight.

Omri previously spent time away from Club Africain on loan, joining US Ben Guerdane during the 2023-24 season before returning to his parent club. He then moved to JS Omrane on loan in August 2024, with that spell ending in June 2025.

His career record includes 51 Ligue 1 appearances, with four goals and three assists. He has also featured in the Ligue I Pro Playout and Ligue I Pro Playoff, while scoring in both the Tunisian Cup and the CAF Confederation Cup. In total, those competitions have included appearances for several Tunisian clubs during his senior career.

Omri was part of the Club Africain squad that won the Tunisian championship in the 2025-26 season. His move to Olympique Beja followed that title success before he made the free transfer to PS Sakiet Edda.

The forward developed through Club Africain’s youth system, joining the senior club from C. Africain U21 in July 2022. His most recent market valuation was €150,000, while his highest recorded value was €275,000.

PS Sakiet Edda have now secured Omri’s services without a transfer fee, with the Tunisian striker joining the club from Olympique Beja.
