Malian international midfielder Mohamadou Lamine Bah, commonly known as “Oxy,” has officially signed with Rwandan club APR FC on a two-year contract. The announcement marks the beginning of a new chapter for the 22-year-old player as he embarks on a journey with the Rwandan Patriotic Army FC.
In a statement to Africafoot, Bah expressed his satisfaction with the move, highlighting the appealing terms offered by APR FC.
“I am very satisfied with the agreement reached with the Rwandan Patriotic Army FC.
I am very happy to sign here, because APR FC offered me an attractive deal. I will do my bit.
Together, we will take up the challenge,” Bah said.
The Malian midfielder, previously with Yeelen Olympique de Bamako and Olympique de Béja in Tunisia, is now setting his sights on making a significant impact in Rwanda.
He acknowledged the high expectations from APR FC supporters and is eager to integrate quickly into his new team.
“I am aware of the expectations of the supporters of the Rwandan Patriotic Army FC.
We are already playing the Rwanda Super Cup this Saturday against Police FC.
I will quickly take advantage of the opportunity to get into the swing of things.
We will give everything to help the club achieve its set objectives,” Bah added.
APR FC, a prominent force in Rwandan football, aims to leverage Bah’s talents to enhance their performance on the continental stage.
The club’s goal is to make a strong impression across Africa, and Bah is keen to align his own ambitions with this objective.
“I could have played in Europe this season, but I also intend to prove myself in Africa.
APR FC’s objective coincides with my professional objectives, that is to say, to triumph on the African continent.
We have a good group, the idea will be to have a very good African campaign,” Bah noted.
The addition of Bah is seen as a strategic move by APR FC to strengthen their squad and enhance their competitiveness in African competitions.
With his contract running until 2026, the young midfielder is expected to play a pivotal role in the team’s future successes.
As APR FC prepares for their upcoming fixtures, including the Rwanda Super Cup, Bah’s integration into the squad will be closely watched by fans and analysts alike.
